Window Installations: 5-10 year olds
In the 2017 Whitney Biennial, Raúl de Nieves covered a huge window with everyday materials like paper, wood, glue, and thin, colored plastic sheets. This created a magical effect, like stained glass. He even included a fly, and the words peace, love, truth, justice, harmony, and hope in his installation. Now it’s your turn! This week you will make your own giant artwork on a window that includes your own images and message.

MATERIALS:
--Wax Paper
--Tissue Paper (various colors)
--Two pieces of construction paper or a paper plate
--Pencil
--Glue
--Old Paintbrush
--Cup of water
--Black Sharpie
--Scissors
