Window Installations: 11-13 year olds
In the 2017 Whitney Biennial, Raúl de Nieves covered a huge window with everyday materials like paper, wood, glue, and thin, colored plastic sheets. This created a magical effect, like stained glass. He even included a fly, and the words peace, love, truth, justice, harmony, and hope in his installation. Now it’s your turn! This week you will make your own giant artwork on a window that includes your own images and message.

MATERIALS:
--Plastic wrap/transparent packaging
--Tissue paper, parchment paper, or wax paper
--Tape, aluminum foil, paper, colored pencils/markers
--Scissors
--Optional: wire hanger
